How is a tour price determined?
The price of your trip will depend upon three fundamental variables:
1. The destination you choose
2. The number of players or learners sharing the fixed costs (principally the transportation costs)
3. The content of your tour
The price will generally be broken down into five-people increments
Is there ways to keep costs low?
Yes there are. This is a guideline of ways to keep costs of your tour under control without sacrificing quality:
· * Get started early! The price of flights is one of the most expensive components on any tour. The price is based on simple economics of supply and demand. The earlier we can book your flights the cheaper your tour will be.
· * Open the tour to most players or learners. You might like to limit participation on the tour to your top players and learners, but please note that by including some less motivated or advanced scholars, you can keep the price of the trip within reach of the most deserving ones.
· * Collaborate with other teams (of other sports) or from other subjects or nearby schools. Many teachers combine their groups with groups from neighboring schools or clubs to make the tour group bigger and subsequently keeping costs at a minimum.
· Keep the tour practical. Don’t try to do too much. On any tour there has to be a balance between activities (matches, school visits and excursions) and leisure time.
