So, you are interested in an international tour, but not sure how to get started or what the process entails?
The following eight, easy steps will give you a good indication of what to expect.

Step 1

Make contact with us

We are experts in the art of travel and also skilled tour planners. Talk to us about your objectives for a tour, your interests and unique needs. A Trendsetters Tour consultant will assess your needs and make recommendations. We will help you identify the factors that will make your tour a success, and even suggest options you may not have considered.

Step 2

Choose and customise the itinerary

Trendsetters Travel will provide you with a full itinerary and quote(s) as soon as possible. If you have various destinations in mind you now have time to analyze each program and choose a destination. We will not only customize your itinerary further until you are 100% satisfied, but we also stay within your budget constraints.

Step 3

Invite parents & learners to the presentation evening (information session)

Invite parents & learners to a comprehensive, no-obligation tour presentation at your premises. This will be to publicize the possibility of a tour and get an early indication of interest! Trendsetter will be happy to provide you with a standard presentation invitation letter to send to the parents (available on request).

Step 4

We do the presentation

We explain the tour logistics and use multimedia to get buy-in from the parents and create excitement amongst the learners or players. We elaborate on the value of a tour and address questions or concerns. A tour presentation is very effective and definitely the key to get things started and all participants motivated.

Step 5

Get approval for the tour

Trendsetters Travel makes it easy to win approval for the tour. We would even suggest that you invite the chair person of the school board to attend the presentation and see for themselves. We can further assist with materials to help explain the program and concept to the school board and other administrators to obtain the necessary approval.

Step 6

Book your group

Let your Trendsetters consultant know that you want to book your tour with us.
Confirm tour dates, the exact itinerary and sign the contract.

Step 7

Generate excitement

The likelihood of an international tour very often depends on the amount of enthusiasm that the teacher or coach can create (and maintain) within the group. Regular tour conversations, tour projects, competitions and fundraisers help build buzz for your trip.
